Description

Chik blinds have been around for generations. The centuries-old craft of Chik blind making, originated in the grand Palaces and majestic Forts of northern India. Chik Blinds were originally designed to combat the scorching mid day heat. These exquisite blinds are hand crafted in India from natural bamboo and adorned with intricate lattice designs. Chik blinds work well in both traditional and modern settings. Chik blinds subtley enhance and soften any interior space. When lowered, they create a gentle, diffused light that bathes the room in a soothing ambiance. The meticulous hand stitching and attention to detail showcase the artisanal expertise poured into every blind.

This Chik Blind is rolled up using a traditional central rope and adorned with a hand-carved wooden pulley.

The blind comes with string ties to affix to hooks included. The string ties are then fastened through the metal hooks or eyelets that can be easily screwed into the top of the window frame. The rope can be secured by wrapping round a brass cleat attached to the wall or window frame included.

The blind is in Udaipur Gilas Style in Natural Ecru.
