This was a large-scale project and the clients wanted to approach it in stages to ensure that quality was never compromised. With a keen eye for style, they had their hearts set on some high-end fabrics for key statement pieces. To balance this, we guided them towards high-quality yet budget-friendly plans for other areas, ensuring a seamless blend of opulence and practicality.

The brief was to transform tired interiors into a lively, welcoming home that suited their lifestyle. The goal was to inject colour and joy whilst enhancing the property's original charm. Creating a functional family space was paramount, as was ensuring ample areas for entertaining. Maximising natural light played a crucial role, with design choices that would brighten each room and create an airy, uplifting atmosphere.

We advised our clients to splurge strategically - investing in beautiful high end fabrics for statement headboards, curtains and blinds while opting for balancing cost-effective plain fabrics  elsewhere. Encouraging them to explore textures and patterns outside their usual comfort zone was a key part of the process. Pelmets and roller blinds became a go-to solution, offering a stylish yet economical way to frame windows elegantly. The result was a perfectly balanced scheme that felt luxurious without excessive spending. We used lots of layering with our Tribal blankets to create a cohesive colour pallet.

One of the biggest challenges was working within the client’s phased budget approach, which meant that the entire transformation took place over four years. This required careful planning to ensure continuity and coherence throughout the home as each stage unfolded. Despite the extended timeline, we ensured that each phase felt complete in its own right whilst seamlessly leading into the next.
